About Consortium - Objectives
The objectives of the project are to:
1. To establish a network of laboratories at centralized and field levels.
2. To estimate prevalence and burden of selected diseases through serological or other surveillance methods.
3. To detect pathogens by serological (antigen) or molecular tests where disease symptoms clearly manifest, mainly in clinical cases and when required in animals.
4. To model the data for disease forecasting and assess risk.
5. To generate tools and reagents.
